RCMP Warning Regarding Virtual Kidnapping

Students and parents should review the following message from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police:

On behalf of the RCMP, BCCIE has been asked to help message out to the International Education sector about an extortion scheme that deceives victims into believing their loved ones have been kidnapped. This is a telecommunication fraud that targets international students. For details, visit the RCMP website.
